Equipment

  • 2 oz cachaça (or rum as an alternative)
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ½ oz ginger syrup (or grated fresh ginger with simple syrup)
  • A handful of ice cubes
  • Splash of soda water
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Lime wedge for garnish

  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ½ oz ginger syrup or grated fresh ginger with simple syrup
  • A handful of ice cubes
  • Splash of soda water
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Your Ingredients – Squeeze fresh lime juice and have all ingredients measured and ready.
  • Mix the Base – In a cocktail shaker, combine sprite, lime juice, pineapple juice, and ginger syrup.
  • Shake Well – Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds.
  • Strain and Serve – Pour the drink into a chilled tall glass filled with ice.
  • Top with Soda – Add a splash of soda water to give the drink a refreshing fizz.
  • Garnish & Enjoy – Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a lime wedge. Stir gently before sipping.

Notes

Adjust the ginger syrup to taste if you prefer a milder or spicier kick.
Swap cachaça with white rum for a slightly different but equally delicious variation.
Make it non-alcoholic by replacing cachaça with sparkling coconut water.
Always use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
